AppraisalPort Forum: Terms of Use
The Forums on AppraisalPort are accessible to anyone who wishes to participate, provided they are registered. To keep this site respectful and welcoming to everyone, please keep the following rules in mind.
FNC may, but is not obligated to, permit you to post or submit materials and is also permitted (but not required) to monitor postings. FNC may both prevent postings and remove postings without notice at its sole discretion. Malicious, flagrant, or repeated disregard for these terms of use may result in permanent banning from these forums.
You must register to participate in the forums. Your registration requires a valid e-mail address. You must continue to maintain a valid e-mail address on file with FNC to continue to participate in the forums. In the event that your e-mail address is no longer valid, FNC may restrict your access to the forums, remove your postings, or both at its sole discretion.
- Do not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, offensive, threatening, libelous, slanderous, or in any other way unlawful.
- Do not direct a personal insult at or about another member of the forum or any other person or organization. "You are an idiot" and all the variations, are unacceptable. If you feel strongly about someone’s opinion, please focus the discussion on the opinion and not the person or organization.
- Do not harass other members.
- Do not impersonate or imitate any other person or misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any other person or organization
- Do not spam. Posting the same post in many different threads, posting multiple pointless posts in the same thread, making numerous posts with no real content, or posting for the purpose of gaining a higher post count is a nuisance to everyone in the community.
- Do not use these forums for pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing schemes (e.g. free iPods offers etc.).
- Do not use the forums for advertising/soliciting. Please keep this activity in the AppraisalPort Classifieds.
Limitations of Liability:
By posting any material, you grant FNC the non-exclusive, perpetual royalty-free right to archive, store, distribute, reproduce, and create derivative works from such information or material, in any form, media, software, or technology of any kind now existing or developed in the future.
Under no circumstances will FNC be responsible for any aspect of posting, or any transaction, activity, or relationship that might arise as a result of, or with respect to, any posting on any forum. You understand that others, including forum members, may copy, store, and re-use your postings or other material, including any personal information you may volunteer to reveal.
Forum members shall indemnify and defend FNC, other forum members and any other third parties and hold them harmless from and with respect to any liability, damages (including without limitation any consequential, incidental, general, special, or exemplary damages), losses, or claims which may arise, whether now or in the future, with regard to any and all postings, references, comments, or other material contributed, linked to, or referred to in any of the forums, whether any such liability, damages, loss, or claim arises from any act or omission of FNC (including its sole negligence) or act or omission of any forum member or other parties.
